Meet Sarah

Meet Sarah

How do you know if you’ve found the one?

When it comes to choosing a celebrant, it’s a bit like choosing your person — you just know.

I love it when you pick up the phone and we get to ‘meet’ ….

Maybe you’ve stalked me on socials (everyone does), or maybe you’ve scrolled through my Google reviews and seen all the kind words from past couples I’ve married.

Maybe you’re here because you want a ceremony that feels like you – something real, intentional, warm.

Here’s what I bring to the table:

Experience + expertise: 8+ years and hundreds of happy couples means I know how to keep things calm, fun, and seamless — even when the weather and mountains have other plans.

Outside-the-square thinking: Your ceremony doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. We toss the rule book (except the legal bits, of course) and get you married just how and where you want to.

Passion + genuine interest: I care deeply about your story and making sure your ceremony reflects you two.

Local know-how: From epic vendors to mountain-top logistics, I know the ins and outs of Queenstown and Wanaka weddings.

The right vibe: Whether you’re after elegance, adventure, fun, excitement, or a steady professional hand of calm — I’ll bring the balance you need.

Meet Sarah

We are so grateful to have had Sarah Noble as our celebrant. She is an absolutely lovely woman who delivered our ceremony so beautifully that I was fighting hard to hold back tears.
The ceremony felt so personal, beautifully tailored to our story and journey together. Plus, she even packed a hot water bottle and scarf to keep my hands warm while we braved the freezing temperatures!
It was clear how well-known she is. Pretty much every vendor we worked with already knew her. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant. Thank you, Sarah, for making our day so special. ❤️

Meet Me

This is me…British by birth, Kiwi by choice… I am a mad keen traveller and I have spent the last 40 odd years of my life trying to see as much of this beautiful planet that we live on as I can. I’ve ticked off 55 countries so far …..one of the bonuses of being a celebrant is that I get to marry people from all around the world, I get to hear about where you come from, where you have travelled to and get tips on where I should go next…and what are the best foods and wines are to try whilst I’m there.
I first came to New Zealand many moons ago as part of one of my round the world trips… I fell in love with NZ – and thought one day I’m going to make this place my home…so here I am in stunning Queenstown.

My Favourite Things

I am nuts about all animals large, small, fury or scaled. I love guinea pigs, cats and chickens…and I really would love a pet cow (or three) I'm a bee keeper and enjoy eating my girls' honey on some fresh baked bread.
My free time is spent, ski-ing in winter, scuba diving when I’m somewhere tropical, cooking and eating scrumptious food. I live on a hobby vineyard and have 2 hectares of Pinot Noir vines. I’m enjoying having my husband educate my palate and improve my knowledge of grape varieties and different wines.

I can sometime be spotted running around Queenstown or, at various events up and down the country. I’m a social runner….I run mainly for the atmosphere at race days…and for the celebratory beer that I feel I have earned once I get over the finish line.
I am trying everyday to be a little greener – my love of travelling gives me a big carbon footprint (despite me only being 4’10”) so, I try to eat less meat and less dairy – pretty easy as I can’t stand cheese.. yup! I know…. that makes me part of a weird minority.
I try my hardest to shop at recycle boutiques so that I have fresh things in my wardrobe for your wedding that doesn't cost the Earth.

I’ve just switched to driving a hybrid…I wish my hybrid was in the form of a 1974 mini….if I have a lotto win would it be wrong to buy a ’74 mini have the original engine taken out and then have it converted to electric???

Why I Became a Celebrant

I had two separate friends ask me on the same weekend to be their celebrant… I couldn’t say no. I did it and loved it! I still love it. I often pinch myself and say yes…this is your real job Sarah!
I love that I get to see humans when they are at their best and most happy. It is a real privilege to share in someone’s wedding day – that is never lost on me.

In my previous life I worked for local government so public speaking and presenting has been part of all my roles. It has never fazed me…not even at school. Class mates used give me their tuck shop sweets to do their readings in assembly.
Whatever size wedding you are planning – I will be there to get you married!

My Whanau

I share my life with my husband of 20 years, and together we have our gorgeous son. This is my little clan!

Thank you, Sarah! We’re so grateful you were part of our wedding day. Your presence meant the world to us. The words you shared during the ceremony were truly moving and touched both our hearts deeply. Watching the video clips afterward, we noticed how attentively you helped behind the scenes — fixing my husband's suit, handing him a handkerchief when emotions took over (which he still has 🫣 sorry we forgot to return it! ✌🏻), and making sure everything ran smoothly. You're truly amazing, Sarah. Thank you for being such a thoughtful, kind, and steady presence on our special day. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💛
