Not everyone wants the fuss, the planning, or the personalised words. Sometimes you just want to turn up and get married — simple, beautiful, and official. That’s exactly what my Just Marry Us option is for.

I’ll guide you through applying for your marriage licence, then when you arrive in Queenstown we meet on the day. We’ll share a short and simple pre-written ceremony (yes, it’s still heartfelt and beautiful), you’ll exchange rings, sign the legal paperwork — and you’re on your way with the rings on your fingers.

Can we bring witnesses?
Yes — you’ll need two witnesses to sign the paperwork. Bring a couple of friends or family members, or if you’re eloping just the two of you, I can help organise witnesses.
Where can it happen?
Anywhere in or around Queenstown for a set fee — a park, lakeside, garden, or even your accommodation. We’ll choose a spot that’s easy, beautiful, and stress-free and doesnt require a permit. Other locations have travel fees.
How long does it take?
The ceremony itself takes just a few minutes. Add in time for signing the paperwork and a couple of photos, and you’ll be officially married within half an hour.
What’s included?
• Step-by-step guidance on applying for your marriage licence
• A short, pre-written but meaningful ceremony
• Legal paperwork lodged with Births, Deaths & Marriages
• My presence as your registered celebrant
What’s not included?
This option is all about simplicity — it doesn’t include personalised ceremony writing, extra meetings, or large wedding elements.
If you’d like something more tailored, we can chat instead about a more personalised ceremony package.
