I awoke on the morning of Jenna and Gregs ceremony to the sound of howling wind! I hoped it would blow through quickly but mid afternoon arrived and we still had gale force winds and low cloud.
Jenna and Greg were determined to go ahead with their wedding.
We didn’t make it to their original spot at Lake Erskine in Fjordland but, we did have an exciting short flight up to Bayonet Peak Queenstown and had a ceremony that moved people to tears. The stormy weather made for some dramatic photographs.
Jennas fairytale theme was all about snowflakes, so, the next day when the weather had settled they got all dressed up a second time and they took a second flight with Heli works https://www.queenstownhelicopters.nz/about-us/ and Warren from https://www.mountainweddings.nz/ and headed out in search of some fresh snow. Queenstown didn’t disappoint.
How great to wear your dress two days in a row!
